Before I start telling you about our weekend...........Please check out this link.... http://www.customlifebooks.com/ It's a business that two adoptive mothers in Maine have started. They put together customized life books for adopted children. I for one am looking into this. I was given an adoption life book as a gift and wonder if I send them that and all my stuff if they'd put it together. We'll see....Anyway-check it out.

Friday was a gorgeous day but unfortunately DH was stuck at the office so we brought him lunch. Spent a few minutes with him and we were off running about town on errands.

Then we spent the rest of the day and night outside in the front yard. DH made me grilled tuna steak and steamed veggies. MY FAVORITE. I didn't have to lift a finger also MY FAVORITE...Kenzie tooled around on her new bike

And discovered a new child safety seat. Surely her baby will be safe in there.
As she tried it out......seemed to work just fine.
We topped the night off with a popsicle and put her to bed and DH and I had a pleasant evening watching a FREAKY movie I AM LEGEND. Didn't like it so much...I screamed a couple times and that's not good entertainment to me. So since my movie picks have been duds that last few times I'm turning it over to Brian and that means the next few movie rentals will be sports related....UGH
THE TRUCK TOUCH....Our church did a fundraiser for the new playground...They had a whole bunch of trucks, vehicles, rigs, buses, etc. for the kids to explore....Bouncy house and face painting too. It was a success. Kenzie seemed to enjoy herself, except for this first picture. She wasn't pleased that she couldn't reach the handlebars.
Out of all the fancy vehicles there she was most enthralled with the regular old pick up truck. That's my girl...Keepin' it simple just like her momma. No frills for me just something to get me from A to B. If I had to guess why she was so fascinated with this one is probably cuz it was so clean. Don't know that she's seen a car like that before.

Got herself a lady bug on her cheek.

HONK HONK......move over people I'm on the road and if you think my Momma's a rough driver you ain't seen nottin' yet!

I watched that same movie a couple of weekends ago and I screamed too. Especially the part where the dog went into the dark space and he had to go in and get him. I don't like to scream in movies either.

Cute pics. And don't worry Madi has never seen a clean car either. ;)

Love those pics!! she's getting so grown up!! How does that happen??

I'd have to strap Gabriella in the chair to get her to sit for having her face painted!
