All You Need is Love

I got this video in an email first thing this morning. What a wonderful way to start my day.

Here's the background story.....Well worth watching....and I thought it fit it nicely with today's theme of DADDY AND ME.


A son asked his father, 'Dad, will you take part in a marathon with me?' The father who, despite having a heart condition, says 'Yes'. They went on to complete the marathon together. Father and son went on to join other marathons, the father always saying 'Yes' to his son's request of going through the race together. One day, the son asked his father, 'Dad, let's join the Ironman together.' To which, his father said 'Yes' to. For those who didn't know, Ironman is the toughest triathlon ever. The race encompasses three endurance events of a 2.4 mile (3.86 kilometer) ocean swim, followed by a 112 mile (180.2 kilometer) bike ride, and ending with a 26.2 mile (42.195 kilometer) marathon along the coast of theBigIsland Father and son went on to complete the race together.

Miles and Brian are two peas in a pod. The older Miles gets the more he starts to mirror his father. All I can say is he's going to keep his future wife in stitches from laughing so hard.

Abby always enjoys at night when Miles is in the shower because it means she and Kenzie get Daddy all to themselves for a short while.



This picture was taken in the hotel pool in Guatemala on our pick up trip.........I ABSOLUTELY ADORE IT and have it framed in her room.

He didn't get to go on any of the visit trips but the first so he hadn't seen her for 6 months......He was sooo in love and still is.
