The fun is over

Our weekend started out good. Friday Mackenzie and I went to the pool with friends.

She loved the wading pool part. We went with Miss Katie and her kids. Katie is the mother of the little boy that I watch during the day. But I won't post pics of them because I haven't asked her permission yet and I'm real funny about that. Anyway-we had a good time.

The pool wore her out so after her snack we headed home for a AWESOMELY long nap.

Then Miles had a baseball game so we went to the ball field. Mackenzie yelled her big brother's name the entire time. She'd run over to the fence and put her little hand through it to wave and called over and over "Mowls". So cute. The crowd got a kick out of her.

My in laws and their children play ball too so they were all there so The Walker's basically took over the ballfield. There's quite a few of us in town and with kids the same age we generally end up at the same places.

The kids have all been so good lately that we decided to treat them to their favorite pizza place. It's our favorite too. They have the best chicken barbecue pizza in town.

Saturday we Brian, Miles and I did yard work while the girls played in the pool.

As you can see from the wobbly sides we're gonna need to purchase a new one. There's a leak and so we couldn't get it full enough to have the sides stay up real well.

They girls didn't care though. I really enjoyed watching them play. Mackenzie copied everything Abby "Sissy" did.

See what I mean. This might be a good thing for when we get to the real pool. Maybe she'll learn to swim easier by coping Abby.

Kenzie cackled the entire time. When she gets real tickled she always covers her mouth. It totally cracks me up.

The fun is over though.....

later that afternoon both Brian and Abby started complaining about sore throats and Brian was having stomach pains that had him on the floor in the fetal position. They were both up all night. So today I am disinfecting this entire house. I can't let Miles and Kenzie get sick.
