I'm so tired of our weather here. Is it gonna be pants, sweater and a jacket or will be shorts and flip flops?? Lately though it's been neither.....Just umbrellas and raincoats......You just never know what you're gonna get when you wake up in the Ville.
Another rainy day......so we stayed in all day. With one exception for me. I went to a GIANT consignment sale and came home with some real good finds. Number 1 on the list is this little kitchen set.
Got a great deal on it.
So since it was icky outside and we were stuck indoors...The rest of the day consisted of Kenzie washing her hands in the little sink, pulling her plastic food out of the oven
and feeding mommy and daddy while we lounged. It was a nice day......although tonight hasn't been good. Mackenzie is going thru a time of independence and just won't go to bed until she is darned good and ready.... Now I will admit......she usually goes to bed great on her own but will wake up in the middle of the night and end up in bed with us...Not proud of it but it's the way it is. I thought tonight would be a good night to take the first step back to Baby Boot Camp.....But she wouldn't even go to bed nicely like she normally does. She cried for well over an hour, at which point she was so hysterical that she was gagging. I went up to get her and see if she would lay down on the couch with me....And she wasn't having it. She still wanted to play with that darned kitchen. My issue is not the crying when I put her down but when she starts in the middle of the night.........It's so hard to listen to her cry for another hour. Any advice?
